Terms of Service

Please read over the terms of service before ordering. When you accept to work with me by making your first payment, you are agreeing to everything listed below in these terms of service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. If you are slandering me, mentally abusing me, or treating me badly, I reserve the right to cancel whatever commissions/agreements we have. If your commission is canceled or you back out, you will not receive a refund. Follow the golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated. If you treat me with decency and respect, I will treat you the same in return, and it will result in a happy outcome for both of us. I'm always willing to work to find solutions with my customers, but I will never tolerate abuse.

REFERENCE SHEET:

A 3 view reference sheet is required for any style of fursuit. If you do not have one, you can commission one from me. (More information on what I offer for reference sheets can be found on the prices page) To order a reference sheet, send an email to the address provided on the contact page, with the subject "Reference Sheet: (your character name here)". I may be open to taking on reference sheet commissions even if I am closed for fursuits, however, keep in mind that I may not have the time for extra commissions. If your reference sheet commission is accepted, I will provide you with a final price and we can discuss payment. The commission must be paid in full before work will begin on it. I do not accept payment plans for reference sheets, and if you do not send the full payment, then your money will be refunded, and your commission request may be banned. It is important to make sure that you have the money available before you commission a reference sheet from me. If I am unable to take on your commission at that time, I will reply to your email to let you know. If this happens, feel free to try again in two or more weeks. However, if you spam my inbox with your request, then it will be banned and ignored.  Please wait at least two weeks before emailing again to avoid this. If you wish to give me artistic liberty when it comes to your costume, then a reference sheet will be included in the cost of your suit, and I will work with you to come up with a design. If we create a design and you decide not to order a suit, then the design will be auctioned off.

QUOTES:

Quotes do not hold or bind you in a commission slot agreement. They are just a price estimate, and a 3 view reference sheet is required to get a quote. To get a quote, send an email through the address on the contact page with the subject "Quote: (your character name here)". The email must contain the reference sheet (pasted in the main body of the email, I don't open attachments), the style of suit you want, and the options (found on the prices page) that you would like. The more intricate the design, the higher the quote. I only accept quotes when my commission status is open. The status can be found on the commission status page. If you send me a quote email when I'm not open for commissions, your email will be ignored.

ORDERING:

You must be over the age of 18 to commission a fursuit from me. Feel free to have your parent/legal guardian contact me for the commission. However, if you are still growing, then I suggest waiting before ordering a fursuit. You want to make sure that it fits when it gets to you; it wouldn't be fun if you outgrew it.

You understand that you are ordering a hand-made, one-of-a-kind costume made by an artist. They may and can contain imperfections, flaws and inconsistencies.

Your project must be accepted before we start the ordering process. This means that I  have received your quote and responded to it, letting you know that I would be happy to accept your commission. You must make a 30% non-refundable downpayment to hold your commission slot. If you are interested in ordering from me, please make sure to make this payment 2-3 days after receiving the confirmation email with the invoice. If you delay too long, you may lose your chance to secure a spot on the commission list. I only take on a limited number of commissions at a time, and I do not hold or reserve commission slots. Again, you must pay the 30% non-refundable downpayment to save a spot on the list. The best way to be accepted is to have a clear reference sheet and know exactly what you want.

You may make changes to your character as long as no materials have been ordered for your suit. Please keep in mind that changes to your character can result in changes to the price, and if materials have already been ordered, then I may be unable to make the changes for you, and if I can, it can cause a large increase in the price. Once work has started on your suit, no changes can be made, so make sure that you are perfectly happy with your character before your suit reaches this stage!

I will not recreate any existing costumes, unless the original costume was made and is owned by the client. If you want me to recreate a costume that was made by another maker, you must provide proof that you still own the original, as well as written consent from both you and the original maker. If you have already sold or re-homed the suit, you must provide written consent from the new owner as well.

I will make certain cosplay costumes, however, they must follow my standards and I decide whether or not I want to accept your commission. For example, I will make Pokemon costumes, but we must agree on the design together. Hybrids are more likely to be accepted than regular Pokemon, but don't be afraid to ask if you're unsure. I would also be more than happy to make Monster Hunter monsters, and have some designs already in mind.

PAYMENTS:

I accept Euros only. I accept SumUp invoices for international customers. If you are living within the Netherlands, then I accept bank transfer as well. If you live in a country nearby and are able to pay via bank transfer, this can be discussed. Cash is only accepted if you are paying in person (usually at a convention).

A 30% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm your commission slot. Payment plans can be discussed. It is important to make sure that you are financially secure before commissioning me.

I may or may not start on your suit before it is paid in full, depending on what other projects I have going on at the time. However, I will never deliver a suit until it is finished and paid in full. The longer you take to pay off your suit, the longer it will be until you receive it. Paying off your suit in full will bump you to the top of the waiting list. (If someone else has already paid in full, you will be bumped just below them on the list)

REFUNDS:

If you decide to cancel your commission, you must first come to me so we can discuss all available options. If we decide that cancelling is the best option, then your slot on the queue will be sold. When the slot sells, you will be refunded the full amount of your commission, minus the non-refundable deposit, any materials that have already been ordered and any work that has already been completed. It can take some time for your slot to sell and I have no control over this. Please keep that in mind.

WORK IN PROGRESS:

Work in progress pictures may or may not be available depending on my current work load. If I need to confirm certain details with you, then I will send you pictures and work will not continue until you have approved them.

I will send you pictures of the fur for approval before it is ordered, unless you are okay with trusting my judgement and letting me order it without input. Please keep in mind that not all fur and fabric colours are available, but I will try my best to match, and I will work with your to come up with a solution.

DEADLINES:

I do not offer absolute deadlines. I am a small business, and things can come up to delay work of the suit. I can get sick or sore and need to take breaks. Machines can break down and need repair.

I always work to the best of my ability, and I will work as swiftly as possible without rushing your suit. Rushing art can result in sub-par results, which is why I will never rush a suit.

Failing to make certain payments or providing items I request can cause delays in the construction of your costume.

SHIPPING:

Shipping options and costs will be discussed after the completion of your suit. I can't come up with a cost for shipping without knowing what size of box is required and how much it will weigh.

If you delay payment for the shipping, your suit will be put into storage until payment has been made. I am not responsible for anything that can happen to the suit in storage. The faster you pay for the shipping, the sooner you will get to wear it.

I am not responsible for any lost or damaged received product.

REPAIRS:

I offer one month warranty on any normal wear and tear. You are required to pay for any and all shipping costs.

Large repairs are case by case projects. I reserve the right to accept or deny any repairs beyond the warranty. After your warranty has expired, there will be a charge for any repairs to be done. These will be discussed with each project.

Any alterations to your costume that were not made by me can void all future repairs.

Your suit MUST BE CLEAN before I will do any kind of work on it. If your suit is not clean, it will be returned at your expense.

SIZING:

If you have sent in all the correct measurements, it should be easy for me to make a costume fit for you. I am not responsible for poor sizing if you provide incorrect measurements.

If you think you may gain/lose weight, then please wait to take your measurements until it is absolutely necessary.

PETS:

I currently own a cat and a ferret. I do my best to keep them off my work supplies, but there may be stray hairs. Please keep this in mind.

PERFORMANCE:

You are aware that by wearing a giant animal costume your vision will be impaired, you will get warm, your dexterity will be low and your feet will be in giant slippers; all for fun. I am not responsible for any stumbling, falling, tripping, overheating, hugs, snuggles or cuddles that may happen while in costume. You wear at your own risk.
