Terms of Service

Welcome to Tesyra Creations! By commissioning, purchasing, or otherwise engaging our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

These Terms are governed by Dutch law.

I open for 1-2 commission slots per month (one fullsuit or two partials). Commissions open the first of every month and stay open until the slot/s have been filled. Check the top of this page for the current commission status.

If commissions are open, please send an email with your reference sheet if you wish to get a quote.

 

1. Commission Process

All fursuits are handmade custom commissions.

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a commission slot. A commission is considered accepted only after we confirm your order and receive the required deposit.

Quotes are generally valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

 

2. Pricing

All prices are listed in Euros (€).

Prices are based on:

• Design complexity

• Materials required

• Special features

• Delivery location

• Optional upgrades

Base Prices:

• Partial (Head, Handpaws and Tail) €1500

• Plantigrade Fullsuit (Head, Handpaws, Plantigrade {no padding} bodysuit with attached tail, Separate tail for partial wear and Footpaws) €2000

• Digitigrade Halfsuit (Head, Handpaws, Digi legs {legs with padded shapes, worn with suspenders that are hidden under a shirt} with attached tail and feet, Armsleeves and a separate tail for partial wear) €2500

• Digitigrade Fullsuit (Head, Handpaws, Digi bodysuit {attached feet are the standard option for digi, separate feet can be requested for a small fee} with attached tail and a separate tail for partial wear) €3000

Any of the suit options can have extras requested for an extra fee (extra pair of feet, wings etc.) These extras are calculated individually for your quote. 

The prices above do not include the 21% VAT required in the Netherlands. This will be added on to your quoted price, so please keep that in mind. 

Prices may change between commission openings. Once your commission has been accepted and the deposit has been received, the agreed price will remain fixed unless both parties agree to changes. Shipping is not included in the initial price and will be calculated when the suit is finished and ready to ship. Please keep in mind that shipping internationally can get expensive, and set enough aside for this. You are responsible to pay any and all import costs. 

 

3. Payment

Payment is always in full unless otherwise discussed. A short-term payment plan may be available on request, but at least 50% must be paid as a non-refundable deposit to claim your commission spot. Work will not begin until paid in full. Payment options may be discussed, but SumUp is heavily preferred.

 

4. Design Approval

The customer is responsible for providing accurate reference artwork.

If references are unclear, we may request clarification before work begins.

Once the design has been approved and construction has started, significant design changes may require additional fees and may extend the completion time.

 

5. Work in Progress

You will receive weekly updates on the progress of your suit. These may or may not include pictures/videos depending on the stage of construction. 

Minor artistic adjustments may be made where necessary to improve construction, durability, comfort, or appearance.

 

6. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

• Provide accurate body measurements/well built duct tape dummy if requested.

• Respond to questions within a reasonable timeframe.

• Notify us promptly of any address or contact information changes.

• Review progress photos carefully before approving them.

We are not responsible for delays caused by missing information or delayed responses.

 

7. Estimated Completion Time

Completion estimates are approximate.

As every suit is handmade, delays may occur due to:

• Material shortages

• Illness

• Family emergencies

• Equipment failure

• Other unforeseen circumstances

Estimated completion dates are not guarantees. Tesyra Creations is run by a single individual working out of a small home studio. I ask that you keep this in mind when choosing to commission me.

 

8. Cancellations

If the customer cancels before work has begun, the deposit remains non-refundable.

If cancellation occurs after construction has started, the customer is responsible for payment covering completed work, materials purchased, and labour already performed.

We reserve the right to cancel a commission if:

• The customer behaves abusively.

• Payment obligations are not met.

• Required information is repeatedly withheld.

• Continuing the commission becomes impossible for reasons beyond our control.

If we cancel before work begins, any payments beyond the non-refundable deposit (if applicable under mandatory law) will be refunded. If we cancel after work has started for reasons attributable to the customer, refunds will be calculated after deducting labour and material costs.

 

9. Refund Policy

Because each commission is custom-made specifically for the customer, completed commissions are not eligible for refunds. However the completed suit will of course be your property and you can resell it as desired.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available under Dutch or European consumer law.

 

10. Shipping

The customer is responsible for providing a correct shipping address.

Shipping costs, customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage fees, and local handling charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed.

Risk of loss transfers according to applicable Dutch law and the shipping method selected.

 

11. International Orders

International customers are responsible for complying with their local import regulations.

We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or border inspections.

 

12. Repairs

Manufacturing defects reported within 30 days of delivery will be repaired free of charge where appropriate.

Normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, improper storage, modifications by others, and damage caused by pets are not covered.

The customer is responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise agreed.

 

13. Fit

The customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements.

I am not responsible for fitting issues resulting from incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.

Minor fitting differences are normal due to the handmade nature of custom costumes.

 

14. Intellectual Property

The customer retains ownership of their original character design.

We retain all rights to:

• Construction methods

• Patterns

• Sewing techniques

• Templates

• Internal design processes

• Photography of the finished work unless otherwise agreed

We may photograph and display completed commissions in our portfolio, website, social media, convention displays, and promotional materials unless a confidentiality agreement has been agreed upon before work begins.

 

15. Resale

The customer may resell the completed fursuit.

The customer may not claim to have made the suit or remove maker identification where reasonably attached.

I appreciate being credited whenever practical but do not require it.

 

16. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the commissioned work except where liability cannot legally be limited under Dutch law.

We are not liable for indirect damages, lost income, convention cancellations, travel costs, or other consequential losses unless required by law.

 

17. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe illness, pandemics, governmental actions, strikes, supplier failures, or transportation disruptions.

 

18. Privacy

Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR requirements.

We collect only the information necessary to complete commissions, process payments, communicate with customers, and comply with legal obligations.

 

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent Dutch court unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

 

20. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The version in effect when a commission is accepted will apply to that commission unless both parties agree otherwise.
